I ran R50 for two years without any real issues, it's great stuff. Right now I'm trying out K2 and so far so good. K2 and R50 are both full Ester syn oils. 927 is a castor syn blend, similar to Klotz Super Techniplate.There are far better and cheaper options from any of these oils you mention . Two possibilities. The coil has been mentioned, but the tank may not be properly venting, or the fuel filter may be plugged. Easy to check for the tank vent, when the saw dies, open the gas cap and listen for a vacuum hiss as it opens. In the 2166-365/2172-372xp class the Jonsereds have a lower profile air filter housing. Is it really running perfectly at high speed - to check, find out how many turns out the H screw is, it should be around 1. The ignitions are unique to the saw in this case and not interchangeable with anything else I know of..
